This is a review of The Black Keys new 'Brothers' album

The Black Keys’ sixth studio album, Brothers, has a strange sound, but is nothing to scoff at. There is a great deal of difficulty in trying to identify the elements of the album due to varied stylistic elements of the album. The first four tracks are upbeat and seamlessly flow. “Everlasting Light” is one of the more hyper songs on the album and immediately catches listeners’ attentions, followed by “Next Girl” with one of the coolest guitar parts on the album and the pulsating drum drives the song home. The lyrics of “Next Girl” offer assertion—promising not to make the same mistakes again with a woman, though only vaguely hinting at what the mistakes were. Track four,...
