This is one moment Kokain Mothershed, senior quarterback, will never forget. During Mothershed's sophomore year, he did almost that exact play on the fourth play of the game for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Golden Norsemen.
Missouri Southern women's soccer kicked in the right direction Sept. 20-21. The Lions traveled eight hours to South Dakota only to be beaten by North Dakota State University on Sept. 20, 4-0. The Lions improved themselves on Sept. 21 against the University of South Dakota, winning 3-1.
Missouri Southern's women's cross country team took sixth in its own meet Sept. 20. The race gathered a grand total of approximately 1,000 entries from more than 20 schools. Four Division I schools competed in the race, including the University of Oklahoma and the winner, Southwest Missouri State University.
If the men's soccer team thinks the win will come, it will come. The Missouri Southern Lions are 0-6 on the season after coming off a tough loss to the University of Central Arkansas Sept. 20, 3-2. A referee called the game nine minutes into the first overtime.

After losing the first and second games to Pittsburg State University, Sept. 18, with scores of 24-30 and 24-30, Missouri Southern's volleyball team came back to win the third and fourth games with scores of 30-22 and 33-31, but lost the final game with a score of 13-15.
