Suspicious activity seen on campus after dark

Burglary 9/08/2005 3:11 p.m. A student contacted the Department of Public Safety in reference to a break-in on the residence hall side of campus. The student had reported someone had gone through her room during the day. She said she could not find anything missing and she didn't know of any suspects.

Cookbook hits home

Recently, Missouri Southern faculty, staff and students have cooked up a cookbook to help raise money for new renovations for the Mission Hills Mansion "Southern Cookbook is a book of 380 recipes ranging from appetizers, dishes to desserts," said Deborah Cash, payroll specialist.

With technology advancing every day along with medical breakthroughs, the study of genetic makeup is has it place in society. The Human Genome Project began approximately 13 years ago. Like-minded scientists studied, analyzed and recorded the DNA sequences from humans, animals, plants and other organisms.
