2008 Woodie Awards
For anyone that missed the back to school bash at The Creamery last Saturday, don't fret there will be another one in the near future. Several Missouri Southern students teamed up to throw a back-to-school party that turned out better than anyone had suspected. They advertised with fliers strewn across campus and placed on nearly every windshield in the 417 area code.
Prints from German artists from Albrecht Durer to Kathe Kollwitz are on display in Missouri Southern's Spiva Art Gallery until Sept. 19. The exhibit, on loan from the Springfield Art Museum, chronicles printmaking methods including woodcut, etching and lithography techniques.
The Campus Activities Board met this week to elect officers and brainstorm about Homecoming.
